Roles & Responsibilities

Traineeship Description

This role is responsible for learning how to deliver inbound digital marketing tactics that include content marketing, email marketing, social marketing, pay-per-click marketing and conversion rate optimisation. You will learn how to address our customers’ business challenges and marketing objectives. You report to the strategist of a cross-functional inbound marketing team.

Specific Responsibilities

  1. Aid in the coordination of inbound marketing campaigns and strategies.
  2. Learn inbound best practices, with the strategic intent of delivering high-quality inbound assets.
  3. Help to identify customer’s business objectives, challenges, and key success metrics.
  4. Work with the team strategist to provide recommendations based on marketing analytics and inbound assessment to address key business and marketing challenges.
  5. Work with the team strategist to develop inbound performance reports to analyse and monitor inbound strategy effectiveness.
  6. Work with the team strategist to perform portal audits to identify areas of opportunity.
  7. Help provide continuing assistance with inbound marketing activities.
  8. Learn how to develop lasting relationships with retainer customers to ensure ongoing service.

Competencies You Will Enhance/Develop

  1. Inbound Marketing strategies to attract, engage and delight customers using content.
  2. Copywriting skills to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
  3. Effectively manage multiple projects and keep them on track using project management software.
  4. Client management skills.
  5. Digital marketing strategies and best practices, specifically around the following tactics: Lead Generation; Content Marketing; Search Engine Optimisation; Email marketing; Social media marketing; Marketing automation; Pay-Per-Click (PPC) marketing
  6. Create professional and effective presentation decks
  7. Effectively visualise data on a reporting dashboard
  8. Use online Marketing Technology (MarTech) tools effectively
